WHO STANDS FOR US?
Have you ever wondered, “why isn’t there an organization that works for us?”
From African-Americans to illegal immigrants—from lesbians to left-handers—every ethnic and interest group has its own lobby or cultural foundation.
The exception is White Americans—our country’s historic majority and founding population—the people that bears the unique heritage of Europe, Christianity, cultural excellence, and the scientific awakening.
And there are our peculiar folkways—holidays, traditions, and customs—that make us both uniquely European and uniquely American.
Only we are who we are.
So why isn’t there an organization that has our interests at heart? Or maybe the question should be, Why isn’t there an organization that has our children’s interest at heart—as well as those of our grandchildren and generations yet to be born.
Don’t they deserve to live in a country akin to that of their ancestors’?
At the National Policy Institute, we think they do.
WHAT WE DO
NPI isn’t about playing Washington games; we’re about both reaching real Americans and cultivating the talents of our people’s most innovative and challenging researchers and thinkers.
We’re outside the Beltway, and we’re outside the box.
Our publications wing, Washington Summit Publishers, has produced works that sit in the great research libraries and which have influenced countless scientists and social thinkers. Richard Lynn’s series of titles has, indeed, set the standard for the study of genetic differences in intelligence. We issue reports that, in no uncertain terms, stand against the dispossession of America’s historic majority, whether through mass immigration and affirmative action or through the actions of Washington charlatans and the cultural industry.
We hold conferences, open to the public, that bring together great minds from throughout the Western world and foster connections between supporters and activists.
Put simply, we’re here; we’re serious; and conventional liberals and so-called “conservatives” are going to have to get used to it.
HEROES & VILLAINS
In 1967, the feminist and literary critic Susan Sontag modestly opined,
Mozart, Pascal, Boolean algebra, Shakespeare, parliamentary government, baroque churches, Newton, the emancipation of women, Kant, Balanchine ballets, et al. don’t redeem what this particular civilization has wrought upon the world.
The white race is the cancer of human history.
Over the long term, Sontag’s statement has proven less an isolated raving than a particularly egregious variation on a theme. Our school children are special targets in a culture war—they are taught that their parents and ancestors were little but exploiters and victimizers of innocents. Public institutions named for such Founding Fathers as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are being renamed for the likes of Malcolm X and Cesar Chavez. No individual American president is deemed worthy of his own pubic holiday; Martin Luther King Jr. is.
Young people are trained to be sensitive towards “oppressed minorities,” but are stripped of pride for what their own people have accomplished. This anti-American—and anti-White in particular—campaign of an intellectual elite is waged in the most vicious language and it assigns collective guilt to our kinship in a way that would be considered intolerable if directed at other groups.
Susan Sontag is right that Europeans have oppressed and exploited other peoples in the past (though this hardly distinguishes the White race from every other group on the planet.). But far from being a “cancer,” as she puts it, Europeans have been a source of light, strength, and vitality for the world over. It is European technology and medicine that have raised peoples out of squalor; it is the European scientific discipline that defines serious discourse and scholarship; it is European ideals of beauty that still reign supreme (despite the best efforts of critics like Ms. Sontag).
In this way, the dispossession of White Americans will have catastrophic effects for the entire world, not just for our people.
As the late Samuel Francis, a co-founder of NPI, noted,
If the people or race who created and sustained the civilization of the West should die, then the civilization also will die.
As long as whites continue to avoid and deny their own racial identity, at a time when almost every other racial and ethnic category is rediscovering and asserting its own, whites will have no chance to resist their dispossession.
Rediscovering our identity—becoming who we are—is the central mission of The National Policy Institute.
